DISCIPLINE
From
a very young age all of us have got accustomed to the word, Discipline. We all
have been repeatedly hearing this word from our parents, teachers and our
elders. Many of us must have been punished for being indiscipline. It may be
anything from violating rules, disrespecting your elders, being unruly, being
naughty, trying to make a mutiny with your friends, being disorderly etc. But
all these happen when we are at a young age, because during this time are
always supervised by our elders. Time and again we are reminded of the
importance of following a discipline way of life. But at that age we feel like
revolting and doing things our own way. The moment we do things which are not
appropriate, we somehow get caught and we are brought to our senses. All this
is well and good when we are young. But once we become adults, no one scolds or
tries to correct us of our becoming indiscipline. Indiscipline way of life ends
up with dire consequences. The importance of discipline and how it influences our
life can only be realized if you analyse the life of people who are failures
and people who are successful. I am not referring to failures which can be
considered as stepping stones to success. I am talking about failures as human
beings. A person who follows a minimum discipline in life will be better off
than a person who has followed no discipline. Again, discipline does not only
mean following rules, it means also a lot of other which will need another
exercise of the mind and hand.
